The course focuses on open open green spaces and the elements of nature in cities in general, with particular emphasis on their relationship with the urban environment and the quality of life in it. The main purpose of the course is, on the one hand, to deepen the understanding of methods, techniques and criteria for the investigation, assessment and evaluation of the presence of natural elements in the urban fabric, while on the other hand, to systematically approach issues related to the design and/or redesign of natural elements and especially networks of urban spaces in the urban fabric, in relation to their role in the environment, the landscape and the daily life of citizens.
