Building construction analysis of small scale buildings and introduction to building information documentation.

Understanding the building elements, components and systems that make up a building, the basic requirements for their construction, connection, operation and maintenance.

Familiarization with the basic building terminology. Investigation and design of a conventional load-bearing system of reinforced concrete and envelope systems of outer shell of common building materials.

Design of interior partitions and finishes. Integration of technical systems and installations, fittings, furniture and equipment.

Reference to urban infrastructure networks and connection to the building.

Factors and design criteria: architectural quality of the final design, the proper resolution of the relevant building and tectonic requirements, the integration of the architecture design principles with the construction and structural strategies and tectonic knowledge.
