R. Ioannidis is a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A.).
By 2024, he has completed 22 peer-reviewed publications and 50 conference and workshop presentations. His work has been cited 335 times in the international literature (Google Scholar).
He has received international and national awards, such as the Seal of Excellence from the European Commission, in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano, the best scientific publication award from the Metsovion Interdisciplinary Research Center and the Ecopolis award for best thesis.
He has been awarded scholarships, e.g. by the French Government for Scientific Residence in France at the Université Paris Cité, by the Eugenides Foundation for his PhD thesis and by the N.T.U.A for his educational work.
He has worked on European and National research projects, in the N.T.U.A, in Politecnico di Milano and in Forschungszentrum Jülich and has worked as a freelancer with Engineering and Architectural firms.
