Introduction to the exploration of the two-way relationship between design and construction approached through incremental implementations up to physical scale (1:1). The topics of the course are defined in terms of the feasibility of exploring this relationship in the design of objects and spaces, public and private, small-scale buildings made of lightweight wooden or metal structures in urban or natural environments. The treatment of the course will be developed mainly on issues of architectural design technique, with emphasis on the study of the bioclimatic character of structures, the construction system, the methodology and standardization of construction, and the compositional integrity of construction details.
