Short CV:
Stavros Mouzakitis graduated from the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens in November 2009.
Since 2010, he has been working as a freelancer in an architectural office based in Patras. In addition to preparing private architectural studies, he has participated in numerous architectural competitions as head of a study team, having received one award and two commendations.
From 2010 to 2014, he worked as a researcher in two two-year research programs of urban analysis and planning, focusing on the metropolitan centers of Athens and Piraeus, which were prepared by the National Technical University on behalf of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Works and the Region of Attica.
In July 2015, he completed the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program of the NTUA “Design-Space-Culture”, after presenting a thesis entitled “Game Landscapes: from a method of Comparative Ludology to a strategy of Ecosophical Gamification”.
This research topic he expanded to the level of a Doctoral Thesis, which he defended in September 2023 at the NTUA School of Architecture, under the title “Ecotopia of Play: History, Theory and Architecture of Games, towards a Political Ecosophy”.
At the same time, he has participated in a series of scientific seminars, workshops, conferences and exhibitions in Greece and abroad, while he has provided auxiliary and independent teaching work at the Schools of Architecture and Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens and the University of Ioannina.
