Investigation of the process of ‘transcriptions’ from the written word to space with the aim of designing a construction. Taking selected texts as a starting point, correlations of meaning and structure will be attempted for the design of the action and the scenic landscape that co-forms it, in a specific (or not) place.
Investigation of the process of ‘transcriptions’ from the written word to space with the aim of designing a construction. Taking selected texts as a starting point, correlations of meaning and structure will be attempted for the design of the action and the scenic landscape that co-forms it, in a specific (or not) place. The activation of mechanisms for the design of a space based on the Word is mainly found in theatre art, but it will be argued that the property of the Word to be ‘represented’ spatially also affects other categories of texts (doctrine, poetry, etc.) In-depth study of different texts and the emergence of the associative sequence in the attempt to transcribe in Space, concepts and sensations inherent in the Word. Each student proposal will reflect a personal process of ‘unlocking’ the dynamics of discourse, thus revealing an interpretive version of it.
