Through a variety of methodological directions, experimental models from the whole spectrum of the cultural field, the use of heterogeneous means of expression in reference to corresponding artistic examples on a global scale, the aim of the course is to produce a comprehensive artistic proposal that will have the most direct communicative effect. By the term visual mass communication medium we refer to a personalised type of visual object that can transmit an informative, deterrent or provocative message, drawing content mainly from the field of advertising, everyday life or politics. The associative extension of the text, the personal or collective containers of memory the lived experience of the social and residential territory of a? Place (city, landscape, journey) are some of the elements that will compose the content, meanings and conceptual origin of each sentence. The vocabulary and syntax of visual language combined with the narrative structure and entropy of artistic practice will become the tools for the production and understanding of the “image” as a construction and will redefine our visual perception in the environment of everyday life.
