The course is intended exclusively for Erasmus+ students. Familiarity with Greek architecture throughout its historical development can enable students coming to the Athens School within the Erasmus+ exchange program to comprehend the cultural context of their studies and engage in both cognitive and experiential interaction with their urban and architectural environment. The starting point of the course will be the historical and cultural characteristics shaping the Greek space, with a focus on the city and architecture of Athens. The aim is to become acquainted with the complex urban environment in ways that contribute to understanding its historical layers, recognizing its contemporary urban and architectural identity, and fostering a critical perception of space.
