Investigation of issues of “urbanity” and habitation, through historical retrospection, and within the context of ideological, social and economic structures, with parallel study of issues of building, functional and typological development, architectural composition. Tracing concepts such as urban dwelling and the man-made environment in relation to the natural, alongside the analysis of urban dwelling in relation to the norms and stereotypes prevailing in each era, social models and ideological context.
