Course content:
Study and composition of the urban space in terms of correlation of architectural and landscape elements, its environmental quality and its wider urban structure. It investigates the relationships between structured and unstructured as well as public and private urban space, the typology of building blocks, the planning of regional and environmental networks, mobility and accessibility. It starts from the formulation of a spatial strategy and the creation of a general layout plan and includes individual thematic approaches that may offer three different in-depth directions as the case may be, such as: - in the design of Collective and Social Housing - in the Architecture of the city of renewals and new developments - in the Environmental - Topical-Urban planning approach when planning the urban space and investigating its sustainability.
