Short CV:
Eleni Alexandrou is a practicing Dipl. Architect Engineer and Environmental Consultant, with broad experience in architectural & construction building design and environmental consulting, due diligence expert and scientific expert on EPBD issues. Trained at National Technical University of Athens – School of Architecture and the Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Design at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where she obtained her MArch II diploma in Architectural Technology and Sustainable and bioclimatic design.
She is a Professor in Architectural Technology at the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens where she teaches architectural technology courses, sustainable environmental and bioclimatic design, construction and thermal analysis of contemporary and historic buildings and sustainable building interventions in graduate and post graduate programs for the last 20years. She is also the director of the Sustainable Architecture Lab. She has performed extensive research work on bioclimatic, sustainable environmental design and energy efficiency of buildings and especially in Historic and Traditional buildings with many publications.
