The course starts from the importance of aviation in today’s world and the fascination of flight and travel, to develop into a systematic examination of all the interdisciplinary basic components that constitute the design environment of the modern airport.

The course studies the section as a compositional tool in architectural design. In particular, it examines the way in which the vertical section can produce architecture as an opening means of investigation.
