Short CV:
Kalliopi Amygdalou is an architect and Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). From 2021 she is Principal Investigator of the ERC Starting Grant program HOMEACROSS. She holds a PhD degree from the Bartlett School of Architecture (U.C.L., 2014), a M.Sc. in Culture and Society from London School of Economics (2010) and a Diploma in Architecture from the National Technical University of Athens (2009). She has previously worked as Lecturer at the School of Architecture of Izmir Institute of Technology in Turkey (2015-2017). She has worked in or led national and ΕU research programmes. Her recent publications include Constructions of Homeland: Architecture, Identity and Memory in the Greek Communities of Odessa and Marseille, 19th and 20th centuries (ed. book, Futura, 2022, in Greek), and The Future as a Project: Doxiadis in Skopje (ed. book, Hellenic Institute of Architecture, 2018).
