Short CV:
Sotirios Kotsopoulos contributes to the research area of computational design. He examines shape computation, perception, and the associations of form, structure, and performance in design.
As faculty at the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and a research associate at the School of Architecture of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Sotirios teaches courses on Shape Grammars, Geometric and Topological aspects of Form, Theory of Computation, and History and Logic of Computational Systems. He also conducts interdisciplinary research on the applications of networked technologies, new materials and Artificial Intelligence in sustainable architecture at a building and urban scale.
