Since the academic year 1998-1999, an Interdepartmental – Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Programme of Studies has been operating at the NTUA in the scientific field of “Architecture – Design of Space”. The School of Architecture has been designated as the coordinating faculty. The operation of the MSc is based on the cooperation of the Faculties of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Applied Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Rural and Surveying Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
The MSc awards, after successful completion of the studies, a Postgraduate Diploma of Specialisation (M.Sc.) of NTUA.
From 1998 to 2017, postgraduate studies in Urban and Regional Planning were offered at the School of Architecture of the NTUA as one of the two directions of the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Programme “Architecture – Planning of Space”.
From the academic year 2018-2019, the School of Architecture of the NTUA, in collaboration with the Faculties of Civil Engineering and the Faculty of Civil and Rural Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, operates the independent Interdepartmental Postgraduate Programme of Studies (IPS) entitled “Urban Planning and Spatial Planning”, (Government Gazette 3304 issue B’ /10-08-2018), as a continuation of the “Urban Planning and Spatial Planning”, of the IPS “Architecture – Planning of Space”.
The MSc “Urban Planning and Spatial Planning” awards, after successful completion of the studies, a Diploma of Postgraduate Studies (MSc) of the NTUA in “Urban Planning and Spatial Planning”.
Since the academic year 1998-1999, on the basis of the ministerial decision B7/750, Government Gazette 989B 18-9-98, amended as Government Gazette 13/B/13-1-03, an Interdepartmental Postgraduate Studies Programme (IMS) in the scientific field of “Monument Protection” has been organized and operates at the NTUA, with the following directions:
The programme is organised by the School of Architecture, with the collaboration of the Faculties of Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Rural Surveying Engineering of NTUA. Direction A is coordinated by the School of Architecture and Direction B by the School of Chemical Engineering.
